The Hong Kong and China Gas (Towngas) Group we belong to is the first batch of companies around the world to obtain the accreditation of the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation. EcoCeres, a member of the Towngas Group, now processes hydro-treated vegetable oil (HVO) created from inedible bio-grease into SAF, and exports it to European markets. The use of HVO has a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared with that of traditional fossil diesel, and received the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification.
