The Group actively responds to the HKSAR Government and the country’s carbon neutrality goals, and are committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2050 through energy transition and innovation. With our unwavering commitment, we are proud to be a member of the China Oil and Gas Methane Alliance, one of the founding partners of the Climate Governance Initiatives (CGI) in Hong Kong and a supporter of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), to reduce the impact of climate change and methane emissions in the natural gas value chain.
We are also the first company in Hong Kong to publish the Climate-related and Nature-related Directive Guide, in response to the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework to review and disclose the ecological and biodiversity impacts, as well as risks and opportunities. The Guide also further aligned with the Recommendations of the TCFD by disclosing financial information related to the potential opportunities and risks led by climate change.
