Board Leadership Structure

The Boards of Directors of Towngas Smart Energy and our parent company, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, are committed to our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) development for a sustainable future. This commitment is reflected in our Vision and Mission, which guide our evolving ESG strategy. The Boards have the overall responsibility of overseeing material ESG issues and valuating, determining and integrating relevant risks and opportunities into our key governance processes.
As part of overall ESG management, our ESG Committees and Board Audit and Risk Committees (BARCs) have separate but complementary roles in climate change and other environmental issues.
